God is perfectly perfect but we know that we are not!
We sin or disobey God every day and that sin separates us from God. But God loves us so much that He sent His Son, Jesus to pay for our sin by dying on the cross and rising from the grave! If we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and follow His plan for our lives, we get to spend FOREVER with Him!! Jesus wants to be with us through every moment of our lives on earth AND He wants us to live in Heaven with Him forever someday.
The Bible says that Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, knocking on it! If you open the door to Him and give Him your life, He will live in your heart forever and will never ever ever leave you. Are you ready to give your life to Jesus and accept Him as your Lord, Savior, and Best Friend? You can start with this prayer:
Dear Jesus,
I know that I’m not perfect and that I sin every single day. Thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I want to live my life YOUR way and not my way. Please come into my heart and be my best friend and the Lord of my life. Fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me to live for you. I now know who I am: I am loved, I am chosen, and I am a child of God.
